Anthony Brown's Beatles Canvas Exhibition

[George by Anthony Brown]

2nd December 2008—28th August 2009
The Gallery, Hard Days Night Hotel
Central Buildings, North John Street
Liverpool, L2 6RR

Anthony Brown was born in Liverpool in 1961 and is an artist, designer, illustrator, musician and composer. His work moves between contemporary portraiture and abstract art in any medium, from graphic design, photography and illustration.

He is to exhibit a collection of Beatles inspired canvas portraits at The Gallery, Hard Days Night Hotel, between 2nd December 2008 and 28th August 2009.

Brown over 40 years has collected newspapers, photographs, memorabilia, reproductions, certificates, song lyrics and magazines to create a montage which is at the foundation for his new oil paintings. The mixed media compromises every aspect of the life and work of The Beatles.
