I got the chance to watch Good Ol' Freda last night. Although I contributed via Kickstarter to make this happen, I don't have my DVD copy yet so I watched it on pay TV. It is also showing in some cinemas now.
I was really pleased with the film. It was really well made and fascinating. It really shows a vivid picture of how the Beatles rose to fame from the point of view of someone who was there through it all. It is refreshing to hear the story from someone who had a front row seat to the whole 11 years.
At the moment, Good Ol' Freda only seems to be availalbe in the US; hopefully we'll get it in the UK soon!!
