Beatle Events in Dublin!

There are some great events coming up in Dublin for Beatles Fans!  Check out this news release from The Nighthawks: 
       
Nighthawks is back with a very special one-off show at Smock Alley, as part of the Dublin Book Festival, on Saturday, November 16th.  The fantastic line-up consists of music from Vyvienne Long, Fiach Moriarty and Della Mannion; stand-up comedy from New Zealand escapee Danny Dowling; poetry from Colm Keegan; and a performance by Seamus Brennan of the short play John Lennon’s Last Day.  Tickets for this show have just gone on sale – and best of all… they only cost €10 each.  Please buy early in order to avoid disappointment.  These tickets are sure to go fast.  https://smockalley.ticketsolve.com/shows/873504227/events

The Quarrymen will be appearing at the Dublin Beatles Festival
in November!

In other news, the Dublin Beatles Festival is now only a few weeks away.  It will take place from November 7th to 10th and will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the only time that The Beatles ever played in the Republic of Ireland.  Tickets are now on sale and full details can be found here – http://dublinbeatlesfestival.files.wordpress.com/2013/07/dublin-beatles-festival-selected-highlights.pdf.  And please tune into RTE Radio 1’s Arena on Wednesday, October 23rd.  There will be a one hour special on The Beatles  live from Studio 8 – and guests will include the cast from Get Back – The Story of The BeatlesColin Hanton from John Lennon’s Original Quarrymen, Irish tribute band Beatles for Sale, bestselling author Colm Keane, Dublin portrait artist Georgina Flood, and lots more.
