NEWS!!!!!! ANOTHER BEATLES LEGEND WILL BE ATTENDING!!!
This Sunday 20th October sees the London
Beatles Day take place at The Doubletree by Hilton – London
West End Hotel in Southampton Row, WC1 (formerly The Bonnington
Hotel)
This will be a VERY special event!
We are very proud to have MARK LEWISOHN - Author of the
eagerly awaited book THE BEATLES –ALL THESE YEARS – Part One – Tune In, as our
very special guest, Mark, a household name for many years in ‘The Beatles world’
will be interviewed by Dave Ravenscroft as part of a questions and answers
session at 12.00, you will then have a chance to purchase a copy of the book and
have Mark personally sign it for you……
We are also very pleased to welcome back our good friends
THE TREMBLING WILBURYs who will be playing a set during the afternoon (around
2pm).
Author KEVIN ROACH – will be in attendance with his brand
new book about George’s family history well worth a read, Kevin will be on hand
to discuss the book plus and his previous book on Paul.
ALSO ……… ROD DAVIS – Quarryman Legend will also be
attending with a fine display of guitars, a great chance to meet this legend!
And there is more!! - Watch out for the FAB
TWINS – who will be playing a few numbers around the show.
As well as the above attractions, there will be the usual
top selection of Beatles dealers from all over the UK offering an amazing
selection of everything Beatles from badges to books to signed albums & rare
original memorabilia, CDs, T shirts, we pride ourselves on the great
selection of Beatles vinyl records from around the UK & the world which will
be offered from £1 to £1000+ many new items including records &
CDs will be offered since the last show, so come on! Grab yourself a Beatles
bargain! A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
ADMISSION TO THE BEATLES DAY IS £5 (Concessions apply)
- Doors open at 10am – 4.00 pm – licensed bar & café on site –
food/drink outlets are very close by as well , easy ground floor
access for disabled people, remember there is NO congestion charge in London on
Sundays, free street parking nearby, nearest Underground station: Holborn /
Russell Square.
