to 26th August Celebrating 50 years since the British Invasion
Think
of it as an early Christmas present from us to you as we announce the events and
line up for next years festival. Highlights include the return of New York's
finest The Fab Faux, two stunning performances from US Legends Chris Montez
& Tommy Roe, not to mention a very special visit to Liverpool's iconic and
Beatle relevant Town Hall. It is 50 years since The Beatles took America and
the world by storm and this theme is at the forefront of our festival. We will
pay tribute to the bands involved in 'The British Invasion' including The Who,
The Rolling Stones and The Kinks. As well as welcoming back The Overtures, we'll
also be paying tribute to Sir Paul and his long-spanning musical career with our
show Paul McCartney 'A Retrospective'. Add a little Peace & Love, a 14 hour
convention, Ringer Starr Band, Grammy Award winning Mark Hudson and you have got
one heck of a
festival...
