On Tuesday 10th July the Albert Dock will be celebrating all things Fab Four, as Beatles Day reaches its fifth year!

Beatles Day is an opportunity for the community of Liverpool to get together and celebrate the musical legacy of The Beatles, with a variety of artists from different styles performing throughout the day. It is also a chance to help raise money for the Beatles Day Foundation, which supports many other Liverpool charities.

This year it will take place in the Anchor Courtyard, perfectly situated in between the world famous Beatles Story, and The Yellow Duckmarine.

There will be live music between 11:00am and 7:00pm.

Not only is it an opportunity for CMP to host their own event, but for other organisations and businesses around the city to also get involved and put on their own celebrations.

Chas Cole- founder of Beatles Day and MD of CMP Entertainment said:

“Beatles Day has gone from strength to strength and we are delighted to call the Albert Dock home in our 5th year. The Day is a celebration of all things Liverpool; the music and fashion that cemented the Beatles into the history books to the humour, energy and vibrancy makes Liverpool such an amazing place to be. We hope that young and old will come down to the Dock to join in all the fun for Beatles Day 2012.”

Peter Cronin- Business Development Manager at Albert Dock Estates Limited said:

"We are delighted to host another programme of Beatles Day activity to Albert Dock. This celebration of the all things Fab Four is sure give any visitor to Albert Dock a touch of Beatlemania."
