Fabulous competition from the National Trust!
Here at the National Trust we’re giving you the chance to create and win your Great British Day Out at a show-stopping range of venues – including the bewitching Beatles’ childhood homes. Imagine staging your dream day at one of the places where the Beatles’ musical heritage began? Just visit our new Facebook app to create your own dream event - then promote it to your friends (you’ll need their votes!) to make it happen.
Here are a couple of Beatles themed ideas to help spark your imagination:
Super 60s fashion fest: Who thinks the swinging 60s were the most stylish decade ever? I do! So my Great British Day Out would start with a 60s makeover for me and my friends at Paul McCartney’s childhood home. We’d get all dolled up for a fun fashion show – strutting our stuff to Beatles’ grooves – followed by a dandy dinner party. And if Macca himself would like to drop by, we’d be made up! Please VOTE to make our FAB day happen :)
Tea and jam with the Beatles: My Great British Day Out would be to jam with my musical mates – inside the place where the Beatles penned their top tunes. Team it with a slap up afternoon tea and you won’t get more British than that!

Simply choose your theme, one of our unique places – a beach, castle, pub, lighthouse, abbey or, of course, Beatles’ childhood home – and which of your friends you’d like to invite. Then let your imagination run free and tell us why you’ve got the winning idea.
