It is somewhat fitting that the latest big name for this year’s festival is
announced today, June 4th , the 46th Anniversary of the release of the Beatles

Sir Peter Thomas Blake was born on the 25th June 193 and is

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
He designed the sleeve with his wife Jann Haworth, the American-born artist

the Beatles Convention on Sunday 25th August at the Adelphi Hotel. He will be
recalling the events leading up to his commission to design the sleeve of this
groundbreaking album, as well as his continued relationship with Sir Paul
McCartney. Peter Blake will be forever connected with the Beatles through this
work and this is a one-off opportunity for Beatle fans from all over the world
to listen to his story first hand.
International Beatleweek celebrates the music of the most famous group the
world has ever known, and takes place where it all began – Liverpool.
